Monto Family Practice and Rural Health Group are asking for patients requiring QFever vaccination and at risk of QFever (that is all of us btw!), to call Monto Family Practice on (07) 4166 1212 to be added to our appointment list. Please note: this vaccination is for 15 years and older only.
If you are from surrounding communities, you are welcome to contact our practice to access this clinic.
The clinic is scheduled for 16 July and 23 July.
A special thanks to Queensland Health for securing a doctor to support this clinic to run successfully.
For Q Fever Vaccination two doctorsโ visits are required, 7 days apart.
1. Blood test and skin test
2. Results from blood test and to have the skin test result checked.

Please ring our staff and we will add you to the list and schedule your appointment.
Vaccines and testing do include a cost, but this will be well communicated to you. The GP appointment is Bulk Billed.
For workplaces this is tax deductible.
Q Fever vaccination is worth the investment in your health. Acute and Chronic Q Fever is serious.
