The Monto Neighbourhood Centre Team are very excited to announce their ‘Fresh Food Market’ that will be held on Saturday, the 21st of October, 2023!
For this event, we are inviting all of the local schools and members of the community so sell and display all of the amazing food that they have grown and created themselves! Anything from fresh fruit and veggies to dried herbs and spices, honey, flowers, home made cakes- the options are endless! But it all has one thing in common, you grew or made it yourself!
The aim of this event is to promote healthy eating for the young people in our community, as well as encourage the community to shop local and focus on the work that goes into food production and growth.
The event is open to all members of the North Burnett Community to come and sell their fresh produce. Please keep an eye out for any and all updates as we move forward.
