Emma Scragg Architect is a Monto-based practice focussing on small to medium building projects which are environmentally, socially and economically sustainable.
Emma is also a recognised heritage specialist with the international organisation ICOMOS, so can assist with processes involved in owning a heritage-listed building. Emma enjoys the challenge of a tight budget and creative solutions for making existing and new buildings more pleasurable and sustainable to live in.
Architectural services include:
- Architecture – Conceptual design as initial brainstorming of opportunities. Design and documentation for new builds, extensions and alterations. Also assisting with approvals and during construction.
- Interior design – reworking internal plannings, fitout and finishes to improve the indoor quality
- Sustainable design – identifying opportunities of site and/or building, improvements available, assistance with product selection
- Heritage – colour studies, historical research, design for adaptive reuse, assistance with approvals for proposed works
- Other – graphic design and printmaking workshops.
The Corner Studio is the home of Emma Scragg Architect. It is also a venue available for hire for small workshops, meetings and community gatherings (up to 10).
